- Verify compliance with project specifications, SANS standards, and QA/QC procedures for MV installations
- Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, test records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
- Monitor and witness MV testing and commissioning activities (e.g. insulation resistance, VLF, hipot tests)
- Liaise with construction, commissioning, and engineering teams to proactively resolve quality issues on-site
- Review method statements, ITPs, and vendor documents for MV scope and ensure adherence to approved processes
- Ensure proper calibration and use of test equipment; verify traceability of tools and test instruments
- Participate in internal and external audits, snagging, and handover processes
What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience with MV systems (11kV–33kV), including QA/QC during installation and testing phases
- Familiarity with SANS, IEC, and project-specific standards for MV electrical systems
- Experience working with QA/QC tools such as inspection test plans (ITPs), checklists, and punch lists
- Strong report-writing, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work site-based in remote project locations
What We Offer
- The opportunity to work on one of South Africa’s largest solar PV projects
- Exposure to full-lifecycle MV installation and QA/QC in a fast-paced renewable energy environment
- Collaboration with a high-performance multinational EPC team and engineering experts
- Structured processes, international standards, and strong professional development
