What You'll Do
As the Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Contract Drafting and Editing: Develop, review, and revise contracts to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with project objectives.
- Negotiation: Engage with subcontractors and clients to negotiate contract terms, ensuring favorable outcomes and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Project Oversight: Monitor project execution to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, timelines, and budgets.
- Claims Management: Prepare and manage claim proposals, including documentation and negotiation, to address any deviations or disputes.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect project interests.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with legal, financial, and project management teams to ensure cohesive contract administration.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all contractual activities comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on contract status, negotiations, and claims to senior management.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in contract management within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Skills:
- Contractual Expertise: Strong understanding of contract law and experience with EPC contracts.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively with clients and subcontractors.
- Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing and drafting contracts.

- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
