- Coordinate daily construction activities, site crews, subcontractors, plant, equipment, and materials in line with the approved project programme.
- Monitor progress against the programme, prepare weekly and two-week lookahead schedules, and proactively implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, SANS standards, construction standards, and Engineer-approved Method Statements.
- Lead site establishment, mobilisation, demobilisation, and day-to-day site coordination across assigned construction areas.
- Enforce compliance with OHSA, Construction Regulations, Construction Work Permits, Job Safety Analyses, Method Statements, and company safety requirements.

- Implement and enforce ISO 9001-based quality management requirements, including inspection and test compliance, NCR closure, material traceability, and audit readiness.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and contractual compliance, resolving construction issues, technical queries, interface challenges, and site constraints promptly.
- Track daily resource allocation, productivity, labour efficiency, equipment utilisation, and wastage to support cost control and construction performance.
- Contribute to payment certificates, progress claims, variations, change management, RFI inputs, and time-impact logic updates in coordination with the planning team.
- Maintain daily site diaries, progress reports, photographic records, as-built records, weld logs, pressure test documentation, inspection records, permits, and handover dossiers.
- Participate in construction progress meetings and provide accurate weekly and monthly reporting to the Engineer, client representatives, and project leadership team.

- FIDIC contract experience within a construction project management environment.
- Professional registration with ECSA, SACPCMP, or equivalent will be highly advantageous.
