Overview

 

A renewable energy business operating wind assets in South Africa is recruiting an Asset Management Coordinator / Analyst to support compliance reporting, documentation control, and operational data management across operational wind farm SPVs. The organisation forms part of a large international engineering and energy group with extensive experience across the renewable energy project lifecycle and an established presence in South Africa’s utilityscale renewable sector.

 

What you'll do

 

  • Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Asset Management reports.
  • Support the submission of operational reports as required by the projects.
  • Assist with preparing lender reporting (including PCR/DSR/Borrower Reports).
  • Maintain compliance checklists, registers, and evidence folders.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
  • Compile and analyse operational data at SPV level (including generation and availability).
  • Support checks of ED/SED documentation prior to submission.
  • Support modelling and analysis of performance deviations, consolidating and extracting results for decisionmaking and recommendations.
  • Support development and maintenance of the operational financial model, including monitoring and assessment of plant payments against the model and approved budgets, and supporting optimisation activities.
  • Review production reports to identify issues and support preventative and corrective actions.
  • Produce ad hoc analysis and management/plant performance reports and presentations as required.
  • Maintain document archives across O&M, SBO, land leases, insurance, and SPV governance.
  • Track contract milestones, payments, and expiry dates.
  • Draft contracts and service agreements as required by the department.
  • Support preparation of board packs and AGM documentation.
  • Assist with data collection, policy documentation, and filing for development projects.
  • Conduct research to support project planning and decisionmaking.
  • Support business development administration/documentation tasks when required.

 

 

What we're looking for

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, legal, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in compliance, reporting, or technical documentation.
  • Renewable energy experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capability.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a structured environment.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel.
