Asset Management Department

 

Overview 

Our client is a leading IPP in South Africa’s renewable energy landscape, based in Cape Town. This role is based full time in the office. Our client has an enviable culture and pro-employee environment.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the implementation and ongoing administration of Economic Development (ED), Socio-Economic Development (SED), and Enterprise Development (EnD) initiatives across operational assets
  • Coordinate project administration, stakeholder engagements, and SED-related activities
  • Support the quarterly ED reporting cycle, including preparation of submissions to the IPP Office
  • Capture, manage, and maintain ED data using ED reporting software (Trimax), including monthly Project Company and contractor reports
  • Process and manage beneficiary and service provider payments, ensuring invoices align with approved milestones and service level agreements
  • Track and support management of ED and SED budgets, including budget updates, analysis, and compliance tracking
  • Maintain accurate records and supporting evidence for ED, SED, and EnD projects, including impact measurement data for reporting purposes
  • Support annual ED audits and BBBEE verification processes
  • Ensure ED, SED, and EnD service providers submit required monthly or quarterly progress reports and supporting documentation
  • Maintain ED, SED, and EnD service level agreements and ensure correct document control and filing on SharePoint

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Post-school qualification at NQF Level 5 or 6
  • Working knowledge of South Africa’s socio-economic and regulatory environment
  • Strong administration, document management, and record-keeping capability
  • Experience supporting reporting processes with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with budgets, invoices, and compliance-driven documentation
  • Computer literate and able to work confidently across reporting and document management systems
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and follow a structured, results-oriented approach
  • Strong written and verbal English; additional South African languages are advantageous
