This role supports a high-performance environment by driving continuous learning, managing HR systems, and ensuring policy compliance. It’s ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional passionate about people development, systems optimisation, and enabling organisational growth through strong policy governance and cross-team synergy.

- Manage version-controlled records of HR and learning policies, templates, and compliance documentation using SharePoint and HRIS systems.
- Oversee submissions for SETA, BBBEE, and audits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness (e.g. WSP/ATR).
- Conduct audits and updates of L&D policies in line with South African legislation (EEA, SDA, LRA, BCEA).
- Draft and manage policy revisions, collect feedback, and communicate updates organisation-wide.
- Act as a trusted partner in development conversations, PDPs, 360° reviews, and succession planning.
- Identify skills gaps, recommend training solutions, and promote learning culture across teams.
- Configure and manage HRIS platforms (e.g. BambooHR, SAGE), including integration with learning systems and compliance with POPIA.
- Facilitate cross-departmental working groups and align teams on Human Capital initiatives.
- Lead stakeholder meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and drive action follow-through.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years’ experience in HR generalist or L&D coordination roles, with strong exposure to policy review and compliance.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, or related field.
- Proven ability to implement and govern HR and Skills Development frameworks (SETA, BBBEE).
- Strong understanding of South African labour law and audit requirements.
- Proficiency in HRIS tools such as BambooHR, SAGE, and MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail, data integrity, and deadline-driven project coordination.
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and lead process optimisation.
- Experience in the renewable energy sector is advantageous but not essential.
What We Offer
- A fast-paced, mission-driven IPP environment where your work directly impacts growth and people development.
- A collaborative, high-energy team with a culture that values inclusion, fun, and accountability.
- Exposure to strategic, cross-functional projects with high visibility and impact.
- Opportunities to drive innovation in HR systems, learning frameworks, and compliance processes.
