  • Ensure compliance with all Project Documents, manage interactions with Eskom, DoE, and lenders, and verify O&M bonus calculations.
  • Lead treasury and cash management, update the financial model/business case, and drive budgeting and forecasting improvements.
  • Prepare and file tax returns (Income Tax, VAT), and ensure ongoing tax compliance.

  • Oversee insurance programmes, IT services (via external providers), and provide leadership and mentorship to junior finance staff.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, Engineer, or Economist with a minimum of 7 years’ post-articles experience.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in infrastructure asset management, preferably within Independent Power Producers (IPPs).
  • Strong knowledge of project finance, financial controls, and compliance frameworks in a renewable energy context.

  • Excellent understanding of South African renewable energy market regulations and commercial structures.
  • Deep familiarity with IFRS, taxation, and corporate reporting standards.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office; experience with Great Plains or SAP is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

What We Offer

  • Exposure to a diverse portfolio of renewable energy assets.
  • Collaboration with international and local finance leaders.
  • A strategic finance role influencing project and shareholder outcomes.
  • The opportunity to contribute to the low-carbon energy transition in South Africa.
