OVERVIEW  

A South African property fund is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support the delivery of funding, liquidity, and financial planning activities across its logistics portfolio. 

This newly created role sits within the Treasury team and provides operational and strategic support to senior finance leadership. 

The role spans transaction recording, payments processing, liquidity tracking, and financial analysis, with exposure to debt capital markets and risk management.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

•  Record and maintain loan and derivative transactions in the Treasury Management System.

•  Ensure accuracy and completeness of treasury data for reporting and compliance.

•  Execute treasury-related payments and monitor settlement processes for timeliness and control.

•  Track daily cash positions and forecast short-term liquidity requirements.

•  Identify and mitigate liquidity risks through proactive funding management.

•  Prepare management reports, dashboards, and KPIs on cash flow, funding, and risk exposures.

•  Support ad-hoc analysis and scenario modelling for senior leadership.

•  Collaborate with the CFO, Treasurer, and Treasury Manager on financial planning and analysis.

•  Provide insights to support capital structure planning, hedging strategies, and risk decisions.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

•  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (postgraduate qualification preferred).

•  2–4 years’ experience in treasury, banking, or corporate finance.

•  Strong understanding of loan instruments, derivatives, and liquidity management practices.

•  Experience with Treasury Management Systems and financial reporting tools.

•  Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; familiarity with BI tools advantageous.

•  Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

•  Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior leadership.
