JOB TITLE: Civil Supervisor

Overview

An international frontrunner in infrastructure development is launching one of South Africa’s most ambitious battery energy storage systems (BESS) initiatives. This position supports the OASIS project, which aims to provide cutting-edge energy storage solutions to enhance grid stability and accelerate the transition to renewable power. The civil supervisor will contribute to the technical delivery and project milestones across assigned sites.

What You’ll Do

• The main responsibilities include the inspection, supervision and quality acceptance of civil engineering construction, existing buildings and infrastructure, and ensure the technical requirements, quality and safety in the construction process.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a similar role on utility-scale BESS, energy, or infrastructure projects
• 3-5 years’ experience in Civil supervision in solar projects
• Ability to operate on remote project sites (Nieuwehoop)
• Strong technical competence and familiarity with compliance and quality frameworks
• ASAP Availability
